Join Me in Argentina January 5 -14, 2024

 

FLY FISHING NORTHERN PATAGONIA

I will be hosting a small group (6 anglers maximum) in January of 2024 to fish the northernmost section of Patagonia in Argentina. The fishing dates are January 5-14, and expect 2-3 travel days on both ends if coming from the U.S. Here is a quote about the trip from my long time friend and outfitter Joey Lin:

“With the rest of Patagonia to the south getting crowded or privatized, this exciting “new" area is the last frontier in Argentina trout fishing,  Fish countess miles of several rivers that see zero fishing pressure in classic fly fishing style:  wet wading, light rods, floating lines and dry flies! This is a no-frills (but organized) fishing trip like Patagonia was 25 years ago.”

10-DAY FISHING ITINERARY

In the 10-day itinerary, we will visit up to 7 different rivers.  Lodging will be a mix of modest camping and clean 3-star hotels. This is the area we fished in the first video I did on my 2023 Argentina trip. If you haven’t seen that video you can check it out here: Fly Fishing Northern Patagonia

TRAVEL ARRIVAL DATES:

• Jan. 2-3: Fly into Buenos Aires (I will confirm which flights are best before you buy.) Stay overnight in Buenos Aires.

• Jan. 4: Fly to Neuquén EARLY. Drive to Chos Malal (5 hours) or Varvarco (+2 more hours), depending on flight arrival time. Stay overnight in Hotel.

FISHING DATES:

• Jan. 5: Fish lower RIVER #1. Camp.

• Jan. 6: Fish upper RIVER #1. Camp.

• Jan. 7: Fish RIVER #2. Dinner and overnight in Hotel in Las Ovejas.

• Jan. 8: Fish lower RIVER #3. Dinner and overnight in Hotel in Las Ovejas.

• Jan. 9: Fish upper RIVER #3. Camp.

• Jan. 10: Fish middle RIVER #3, transfer to Los Miches. Dinner and overnight in Hotel.

• Jan. 11: Fish lower RIVER #2 in the a.m., RIVER #4 in the p.m. Dinner and overnight in Hotel in Los Miches.

• Jan. 12: Fish all day RIVER #4. Dinner and overnight in camp or Hotel in Los Miches.

• Jan. 13: Fish RIVER #5. Camp.

• Jan. 14: Fish RIVER #6. Dinner and overnight in Hotel in Chos Malal.

TRAVEL DEPARETURE DATES:

• Jan. 15: Travel day back to Neuquén, overnight in Buenos Aires or connect back to the US, depending on flight times.

COST: $6,900 PER PERSON

50% Deposit to hold your spot

  • The remaining balance is due November 5, 2023, sixty (60) days before the first day of the trip.

  • Included in the cost: All meals, lodging and guided fishing based on shared room and guide, beverages/beer/wine, licenses, local transfers (to/from Neuquen Airport).

  • Not included in cost: Flights to Buenos Aries and Neuquen, hotels in Buenos Aries and Neuquen, transfers in Buenos Aries, and tips for guides and staff.

Cancellation Policy

  • All deposits & payments are 100% non-refundable under any circumstances. Deposits & payments are transferable to another angler for this trip.

  • Trip insurance is suggested.
